We aim to reply within 2 business days. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, whether Apple Intelligence is enabled, and a short description of the issue. Do not send private draft content unless necessary.

Open the app and tap the record button on the Create tab. Allow microphone access when prompted.
Speak, tap Finish, then review your polished draft.
Tap Copy Text and paste into email, messages, notes, or any other app.

Apple Intelligence–capable iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. If polishing is unavailable, you can still transcribe, edit, save, copy, and share the raw transcript.
No internet connection is required. Transcription and polishing run on your device, so SayWrite works on a plane, a train, or anywhere without Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
Yes. SayWrite is completely free—no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no usage limits. Unlike many transcription and AI note apps on the App Store, there is no paywall and no meter on how much you can dictate or polish.
Enable Apple Intelligence in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri on a supported device. Polishing needs the on-device model; transcription does not.
Speak clearly near your iPhone. Check that no other app is using the microphone. Try again in a quieter environment.
Go to Settings → SayWrite → Microphone and enable access.
On first use, iOS may download speech assets. Wait for the download to finish (check Settings → SayWrite → Availability in the app).
Add “heard as” → “correct spelling” pairs in Settings → Dictation → Custom dictionary. Corrections apply after transcription and during polishing.
Use Settings → Privacy and data → Delete all drafts (and optionally delete retained audio or reset settings).
